As you know, burgers are quite frequent at home, I love making some, eating some, but mostly testing some new recipes!
I was inspired by my delicious fried chicken recipe that I wanted to associate with Mexican flavors. So I added a delicious guacamole (of course), a salsa that I pimped with fresh and crunchy vegetables and some cheddar. And tada, it's like if you had Mexico in your mouth!!My advice: you can add coriander to your guacamole.
Ingredients (for 4 persons):
-4 buns-8 slices of fried chicken (recipe here)
-2 avocados
-1 tomato
-1/2 green pepper
-1/2 red onion
-5 tablespoons of salsa
-4 slices of cheddar
-lemon juice
-Tabasco
-salt, pepper
Prepare the chicken like in the given recipe.
Preheat the oven at 350°F.
Put the buns in the oven for 5 minutes so they can be crunchy outside and soft inside.
Mash the avocados, add the lemon juice, a few drops of Tabasco, the salt and the pepper. Put aside.
Dice the red onion, the pepper and the tomato and add them to the salsa. Put aside.
Put cheddar on the top buns and put them back in the oven so it can melt.
Fry the chicken.
Meanwhile, spread the guacamole on the lower buns, add the chicken and the salsa. Close your burgers and serve immediately.
